WD 65731. Lamp replacement. Phillips or Osram?

I am getting ready to purchase a new lamp for my 65731. I have been reading some posts about mitsubishi's dlp and from what it seams to me is that these dlp's have issues with phillips bulbs. Should go oem osram or go ahead and go with the phillips?

My brother's 65731 bulb also went out recently and I ordered the Phillips for him from discounttvlamps (which appears to still be DM since the links including this one and ones for feedback are for DM). He just installed it this evening and it worked A-Okay. This is the second replacement. Originally his first bulb went out in April 08 after about 8 months -on regular brightness. The second one last a little over two years -I assume it was the Osram.

I would agree with brand1, the Philips is your best option for your WD 65731. There is some problems with the Philips lamps for a couple of Mitsubishi models (don’t exactly remember) that when installed, the lamp cover wont close due to its long top terminal. But it your case its no the problem.
