Mitsubishi wd-60638 won't turn on

Plugged unit in factory reset the set via holding power for 10 seconds and pressed the power button. Nothing... rechecked all the connections and tried power again. Stuck my head behind the TV and could hear the low whine of electricity when power button was pressed.
No green light at all set is just dead at this point. So apart from picking random parts to replace what should my next step be?
