Restting the lamp hours to other than factory

I have just replaced my lamp in LG #RU44SZ61D and have reset my lamp hours to zero. While doing this I noticed that my lamp hours were set at 10,800 hour. Hour can I change the hours to about 6,000 hours?

You can go to Google enter you tv's model. check for lamp timer settings, try to set the grade accordingly to the specifics regarding your particular model. On your tv's users guide you may be able to find that setting.
