Hello TheBossT127.
First of all I would like to point out that the lamp only emits white light, that’s the reason why a new bulb didn’t fix the problem. The one in charge of giving color to the picture you see on the screen is the color wheel. Now there is a small possibility that the wheel might have got stuck on the yellow segment or the rest of the colors have been burn.
Open up your tv and check it out for your self, see if you can detect anything wrong with the wheel.
Good luck.

Where do I open the tv to locate the color wheel? There are no unusual noises coming from the unit. It is a 42" Zenith LCD projection TV. Thank you

ok i see now with tv model we can see that it is an LCD projection TV, this TVs doenst have a colorwheel :? , what can be causing that yellowish color it could be one of the DMD chips there are 3 of them blue, green, red so it could be one of them and to be honest it is very hard to get them separately, probably you can get the hole DMD board but it could be expensive :? i recommend you to check this with a tech and once that he tell you what is the problem ask him for a part # or the correct name of the part, then you can google it or call to known companies like the sponsor of this forum discount merchant or partstore.com, good luck :ugeek:

I can't seem to locate a tech that is Zenith-authorized. Do you have any suggestions on where to find one locally? I'm in upstate NY.

thanks
