Hey, I am having a problem with my Zenith dlp. When i go to power it on the power light blinks several times and the fans start up but i get no picture, next the red temperature light blinks once then the fans shut down. the tv then tries to start again power light blinks several times. then it just shuts off and the power light turns red

If temp is flashing, we need to cool down the TV or maybe the Temperature Sensor is bad.
A temp sensor will look something like this:

You can test this sensor with a continuity test with a volt meter, this sensor should always be open. If it is closed than you really need to replace it. Or if it gets closed just right after turning ON the TV it will need replacement.

There is a good chance also that the fans are not working properly, they might be working at a lower speed.
