LG ru-44sz63d flashing orange & then back to red

This is more of a tip.....I turned on my lg and it started as usual, I heard sound and then nothing.
The red ready light was solid. When I hit the power switch again the orange light flashed for a
minute or so then went back to red. I had already replaced the bulb a year or so earlier, but
I pulled the bulb anyway and it was ok. So i unplugged the TV for about 5 minutes, plugged the TV back in and it worked as normal.
By the way when I replaced the bulb I had it turned (so it seems ) the wrong way. when I put the bulb back I turned the bulb so that the long wire inside the bulb was pointing north and south.
And it seems my HiDef picture is alot sharper. Hope this helps.
