KDF-42WE655 LAMP/BULB TESTABLE?

JUST TO BE SURE THE LAMP IS BAD, SHOULD I BE ABLE TO OHM IT OUT? I GET NO CONTINUITY(SP?) ON MY METER. THANKS

IT GAVE NO WARNING JUST GAVE THE LAMP INDICATOR ONE DAY. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

You'll never get continuity on lamps like this. They don't have anything solid connecting the terminals, it's all gas. Gas ignites with voltage and lights up.
