Reset Lamp counter

Postby Gerry » Mon May 11, 2009 5:55 pm

I purchased and installed a Panasonic replacement lamp TY-L1000, installed it and picture works fine, thanks to the great service at discount-merchant.com.

The problem is I can not get the lamp counter to reset so the lamp indicator light stays on and I get the same light is ready to fail warning everytime I turn the TV on. I tried numerous times to reset it as the manual says by hitting Volume down and Split buttons on remote at same time but no luck.

Do you know any tricks or what I am doing wrong?

Thanks
