Blue Tint To Images and Text

Postby GKCH » Mon May 04, 2015 5:20 pm

I have a JVC 56g786. I have replaced a broken bulb with an OEM bulb from Phillips.

When I turn the TV on for the 1st time from a long period of it being off, there is a very noticeable blue tint to the text and images on the screen. I can get it resolved by turning the TV off and on about 10x. It is quite annoying.

What other issues could be causing this?

Thanks in Advance1

This TV might be LCD RPTV, let me check if so one of the LED lens (red, blue and green) might be burned out, this happens with time, and it is more noticeable when a new lamp is installed.

DLP RPTVs have a colorwheel, that is consumable , they sell it and is replaceable.
