Toshiba 56HMX85

Postby Paris » Fri Jul 09, 2010 6:17 pm

I recently replaced my second lamp which had blown out. I knew it had blown after my set would try to start (with sound), showing a solid red and blinking green and would try to restart multiple times.
My new lamp that was purchased through DM, is now doing the same thing in less than a month. Each time, I take the lamp out to see if it has blown also but seems to be good. I eventually get a picture to register and then everything is fine.
I purchased a TB25 from the website but what I was sent did not have the same numbering nor did the accompanning receipt. When I asked CS about this, they said I received what I ahd ordered but could not tell me why the number on the lamp that I received was no where listed on the website.

The best way to verify that is to call DM, and have one of the guys double check compatibility on the model and part number from the tv and lamp they sent.
Now, keep in mind that your tv does have other consumable parts and well if the lamp aren't lasting you at least 1. yr to 2 yrs. More than likely you have a ballast problem.
