62HM195 with blues horizontal bars/streaks

Experiencing blue streaks/horizontal bars in the 62HM195. Previously have had 2 other problems that always were repaired by having service tech replace light engine with rebuilt engine. Service contract only has 9 more months. Could the blue streak problem be dust or dirt in the light engine? I'm an electronics tech (not TV) and am willing to tackle almost any electronic/mechanical problem (with care and patience). Each time the service tech comes out, it takes about 30 days for the return or swap of the rebuilt light engine. It's football season and I love my DLP.
