Hello all I am having a problem with my DLP. I had to replace the projector lamp because it blew up one day. I bought it online and inspected it before I put it in and it seems fine. The first few times I turned the TV on after install all was well but very shortly after that it started to not come on. The previous post listed all my symptoms as well except when I turn mine on it makes a kind of clicking sound. I got mad one day and banged the side of the TV and it came on immediately but doesn't seem to work now...duh! Anyway if I continuously cycle power on and off it'll eventually come on but I'm gettting tired of it...anyone know anything that could help me fix this problem? Or even what the hell is wrong? Thanks in advance...

Hi steven.
The problem you have is most probably a ballast issue. When this device fails you hear a clicking noise every time is trying to turn the lamp on, just as you described. Replacing it should solve your problem.

I found the ballast PCB, replaced it today and now when I plug the TV in the yellow LED just blinks. I can't get the TV to come on and I can't find anything to help me with the problem...any suggestions?
