Toshiba TV base support/stand availability

I have a Toshiba TV mod# 42HL167, S/N# TACO710, chasis# AM362086062.
I have lost the base tripod that the TV stands on.
Toshiba and their parts distributers say it is no longer available.
Is that accurate and how about a substitute base? Thanks again, Greg. :?

Ok this is kind of a tall order, when I am looking for such I try craigslist first for broken models that have compatible bases and sometimes discount-merchant.com has some refurbished ones at an ok shipping rate.
