2006 samsung 61'' hd dlp tv

every once in a while if we turn tv off and then back on 5 minutes later the tv will make a sound like a generator powering up then a noise like a cat meowing ( only way to describe it ) we usally unplug and leave alone till next day ,then all is fine.turned tv off to go to bed ..turned on next day (cat) ok, unplug wait 2hrs. cat again.3days later still cat. power button flashes lamp/ timer ..replaced lamp 3 months ago.Help!!
