Need part numbers for ballast and power supply

Postby justint » Wed Mar 31, 2010 5:55 pm

Model - Samsung HLS5687WX

I had a tech come out and replace my defective light tunnel at no cost - now the tv won't turn on at all and he said that I need to replace the ballast and power supply. I've tried to call and get the part numbers so that I can order them but I keep getting conflicting information. Can anyone tell me these part numbers?

Thank you!

Hello justint.
The truth be told is that the only way to get your exact part number is to physically look it up printed in the board you have inside your tv. The reason is that two or more TVs with the exact same model number but was assembled on different dates might have different type of parts. That because the technology was improved each year, thus crating difrent generation of boards.

Normally it’s the biggest number printed on the board, look for the P / N legend.
Good luck.
