Samsung HLS6187WX/XAA

Postby rmd » Thu Jun 11, 2015 11:36 pm

Need help. The TV now has started cycling off after a few minutes, with the lights flashing. We have replaced the lamp, balast, color wheel, blue switch, fans and it was working fine until last night and then this all started again. It was working fine for about 4 months. What else could be wrong???

Hello and wow this post is old, and probably fixed?

I just though id respond!

So you pretty much rebuilt the TV there should be no reason for this to happen in 4 months unless you:

A- have ordered a knock off lamp (not Philips or Osram) which provides sometimes less than 500 hrs of use.

or

B- maybe the ballast was not NEW condition.

I would try revising all of the connections made during installation..
