Not color wheel or bulb

Postby 953111 » Sat Jul 18, 2009 7:57 am

my HlP5063wx fires up and I get the 3 lights but the bulb does not come on. I had the bulb tested and it worked. I thought I found the problem being the color wheel which was badly broken. I replaced it but the tv still does not fire up the bulb. Please give me some suggestions.

I think the problem could be with the ballas. Do you hear a clicking noise when trying to turn the TV on?

Did you reset the lamp timer?
Do you have the back door closed properly?
