I have an iPhone 3G and with the 4.0 update, jailbreaking it unlocks the full OS instead of the partial upgrade 3G owners got. I mainly did it for the orientation lock, but am now thinking about downgrading or seeing what can be done to improve it's performance since the devices feels a little sluggish now, which could be the fault of the "multi-tasking."
