MITSUBISHI-WD-60737

Postby EdRod » Wed Sep 02, 2015 12:45 am

OK I am already messing up. Yes I am a NEWBIE. I sent a problem on my WD-60737. Does the ballast also control power to the fans on my DLP? After replacing my lamp and ballast and lamp cooling fan I have no picture, no sound and no fans sound. Red blinking light in front. EdRod

Hello,

The ballast does not control the fans. Please make sure the lamp door is closed fully. There is a sensor switch there and the ballast will never make the attempt to ignite the lamp if this is not seated or closed properly. Please advise if the door was closed or not.

Once again your experience has allowed me to diagnose and repair my MITSUBIsHI WD-60737. After installing the color wheel I had a shadow at the top of my screen. Your instructions on adjusting the light bar I had a great picture. Thanks CHUBBSTECH. Great instructions
