Panasonic- 52LCX16 Timer Reset

Postby hoovinc » Thu Dec 30, 2010 10:36 pm

Hello,
I just replaced my lamp and now need to reset the timer. I've tried all the tricks that was mentioned in these forums...yet no avail.

I tried:
a)On power...hold vol down on tv and play (no split on remote) on remote together...no success.
b)Power tv on...hit return to get rid of message asking to reset lamp timer...then hold Vol down and play remote button...no success.
c) Hit menu button on tv and play button on tv ... no success.
d)turn the volume up....then down...when it hit 0 on volume...hit play on remote...no success.

why can't panasonic just have the exact instructions on tv...they manage to put the error message there...booo.

and why are there multiple ways to do this...weird.

pls..help..thnks!

Change is the only constant, we must become the change we want to see.

it can also be done by taking out the lamp and leaving the TV unplugged for 24 hrs. just to make sure the timer and the TV is reset. ;)
