problem with lamp for samsung dlp

Postby spatssox3 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 10:49 pm

I have a probem with my dlp samsung tv model HL-R4667W. I know it is discontinued but all 3 lights in front are on blinking and naturally the tv doesn't turn on. I believe it is my lamp. Problem is on my manual it doesn't show me where the lamp is to replace it. Can't locate it. Not really sure how to replace it. Need to do this myself. On the left side of my tv looks like a white button and next to it it says lamp. If that is where it is I am having a hard time opening it. If I have to replace the bulb where is the cheapest and best online site to go to to purchase one. Need help

that button can be the lamp hour timer reset button, and the lamp door should be on the left side of your Samsung DLP.
Here is a link to this forums sponsor, they have great over the phone trouble shooting ;) It is also the lamp you need original Philips brand
