My 50" Vizio Plasma TV stopped working 2 weeks ago and now only flashes black and white with an 8" white vertical stripe down the middle when it flashes. I've tried some troubleshooting sites and even took it to a local repair place (which wanted $580 for repair - ugh!).

Both sources seem to think it's a Ysus board that needs replacing but I thought I'd check with you before ordering. I've opened up the back and the board appears to be fine with all 4 fuses passing continuity.

Is the Ysus board the problem? Please advise. By the way, the TV model is Visio P50HDTV10A and it was manufactured in October 2006.

and mmhmm..yeah i think the problem could be with the Y-sust board...

or

mmhmm i think maybe the problem could be with the screen...that is not working...properly..even tho ill go more for the Y-Sust prob.
