samsung LCD green or blue and loud noise

we have a sumsung 46" LCD. When we turn it on the screen turns on then goes green or blue with a loud screeching noise. We can't turn it off or lower anything it is on for like 5 - 10 seconds, then turns off by itself and back on in a few seconds then everything is ok. Today we turn it on and it is like looking through rain glass and picture is fuzzy with no loud noise. Can anyone let us know what is going on. We changed the cable box several times but that is not the problem. :(
