The picture on my TV screen does not show white color clearly and the white colored items have yellowish color to them. What is the problem?

You might be having a color wheel problem, however you need to post more details regarding this issue.

Hey, so i picked up a free 60 inch tv i think thats the measurement from a guy who didnt want it anymore. Its in good condition except when you turn it on it comes up just fine but then the picture goes away after about a minute and a half. Im not 100 sure what the problem is. Ive read around that it is a bulb problem, that the bulb is coming to the end of its "life", but I need to be sure its the bulb thats the problem before I fix it. Any insight as to what might be the problem? The TV is an LCD rptv. A sony kf-50xbr800.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
