osram bulb

I replaced my phillips original bulb that lasted three years with a osram which only lasted 4240 hours one year and two months that went out so my question is my picture setting is on dynamic will that have a affect on the bulb to be short lived ,or should i putting it on a different setting to last longer? I just bought a phillips to replace it ,if there is a different setting to make it last longer please let me know thanks,i save allot of money from this site.... :D

I know this is a old thread but for other people reading it here is a reply. Brightness settings will definitely effect bulb longevity. As a general rule, Philips brand is the longest lasting and brightest replacement bulbs. Also, once you turn your TV off, do NOT switch it back on for at least 3or 4 minutes. This is a major no-no for bulb life.
