reieved a 120/132 watt instead of 100/120watt will that make lamp tv not cut on?

It all depends on the wattage of your ballast.

If you have a 100W ballast with a 120W lamp...your ballast will be short for 20W to ignite the lamp.
Basically it would not work...and if it does is not going to work properly

That's not true Jake.. a 120W lamp is 100/120W meaning that the 100W ballast will work fine. A 132W lamp will also work, but may appear dimmer since it needs a lot more energy.
