Sony 60" DLP HDTV

Postby searchingforhelp2 » Fri Sep 18, 2009 4:13 pm

I have big blue and yellow blobs on my screen. What is this and can I fix it?

you need to change the light engine.

Whats your TV MODEL?

if your TV is a DLP
Then the problem is with the projector. Its causing to blob some colors.

If your TV is a LCD rear projection.
Then your problem is with the optical block, most probably 1 of the LCD chips is stained.

I suggest reading this post I made on the Sony Rear Projection TV with Green or Blue blob problem:

I'm sure it will help you in clarifying a few things.

Good luck.
