When I turn the TV on, the LAMP LED flashes, then the set powers down, and then tries again to turn on.
It sounds like the TV is trying to start up, but after a few seconds, it powers down and attemps to start up again.

I ordered a new Lamp which is on the way, but if anyone has any suggestions, or knows how to verify the lamp is actually bad please let me know!

When a lamp goes bad, it is usually shattered, burnt in the middle glass bubble (on the inside filament) or fogged in any spot on that same bubble or the front glass face. :mrgreen:
A good lamp should be crystal clear! :geek:
