Philips Magnavox Projection TV quality

Postby Ace » Sun Nov 21, 2010 7:37 pm

I have a Philips Magnavox Projection TV made in 2000 model 9P5534CI ... 52ish inch screen. The picture has recently become, dark, less clear, red colors blurr together. We've played with the screen settings, but haven't improved the picture. Don't know if it could be a lamp or more serious.

A lamp just shines bright white light, I think this may be an issue with your color element (lcd chips or colorwheel) do you know if you have an LCD RPTV or a DLP RPTV? I am unfamiliar with this model sorry, but I can help diagnose it once I know
