HLR5667W lamp fan

The cooling fan behind the lamp died and I ordered a new on from a local tv repair shop. Got the new fan in and went to replace the old one, but now I can't remember how the fan is supposed to be installed. Does anybody have any pics that might help?

Any ideas? Is it supposed to draw heat away or blow air onto it? It's right behind the lamp but the case the fan sits in looks like it actually goes over to the color wheel.

my tv blows it out the back. mines an hlr5067w but its the same tv just mines smaller :(
