The life expectancy of your Sanyo POA-LMP131 (service parts no 610 343 2069) lamp depends on the amount of usage and whether the air filters are cleaned on a regular basis. A build up of dust on the filters will reduce the cooling fans effectiveness and may cause the lamp to overheat.

The Sanyo POA-LMP131 (service parts no 610 343 2069) lamp life runs anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 hours. It’s always a good idea to keep a spare lamp on hand so when it’s time to replace your lamp you won’t have to wait and possibly not be able to use the projector when needed.

The best type of lamp to buy is one that has been guaranteed authentic and created by approved manufacturers who use the correct parts for the lamp. Knock-off lamps use counterfeit parts that can explode inside the projector or not fit properly thereby damaging the sensitive mechanism in the projector. The initial low cost of these counterfeit lamps may end up costing you more money in the long run if your projector is ruined. Using a counterfeit lamp will void your warranty.

The lifespan of the lamp will vary depending on how much the projector is used and if the filters are cleaned regularly.

When your Sanyo POA-LMP131 (service parts no 610 343 2069) projector lamp is nearing its end of life you’ll see the Replace Lamp icon appear on the screen and the Lamp Replace Indicator will start flashing yellow. Depending on the Lamp Mode chosen, the Sanyo PLC-WR251 projector may turn off after three minutes.

Invest in an authentic Sanyo POA-LMP131 (service parts no 610 343 2069) and avoid the temptation to buy a cheaper priced lamp. These bargain lamps are usually counterfeit lamps and use inferior parts that can damage your projector. They may end up costing you more in the long run. Authentic lamps have been manufactured with reliable parts that work with the sensitive mechanisms in your Sanyo PLC-WR251 projector. These authentic lamps come with a guarantee and won’t make your projector’s warranty invalid.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR SANYO PLC-WR251 LAMP REPLACEMENT

Before installation: Turn off the projector and unplug the AC cord. Allow the Sanyo PLC-WR251 projector to cool to the touch. This can between 45 to 60 minutes. Don’t open the projector when hot since these machines operate under high temperatures and you can burn yourself.
