The Samsung HLS6167W is a projection 61” High Definition LCD TV. The HLS6167W features “floating screen” lightweight compact technology, and uses DLP light engine. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 (widescreen), and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The Samsung HLS6167W supports NTSC and ATSC colour systems, in a number of video formats, some of them being 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p_60. It uses Samsung’s DNIe video enhancement technology and the Cinema Smooth light engine using DLP. It has an inbuilt analog / digital tuner (NTSC / ATSC).
The Samsung HLS6167W has a variety of audio – video input ports. It has 2 HDMI ports, 2 component video input ports compatible with 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i, a Co-Ax tuner port, a PC (RGB) port, 3 sets (2 Rear / 1 Side) of A/V component inputs and 3 sets (2 Rear / 1 Side) of S-Video input ports.
