Follow these important safety steps BEFORE installing the replacement

  • Turn off the InFocus IN32 projector and unplug the power cord.

  • Place the projector on a soft surface.
  • Do not operate the projectors while any of the lamps are removed as this may result in malfunctions, fire hazard and other accidents.
  • Caution: Don’t touch the screen or the actual bulb with your finger since the oil from your skin can cause a black spot on the bulb.

  • Remove the lamp door by using a screw driver to gently pop off the cover.
  • Slide the door forward and lift the door off.
  • Using the screw driver to loosen the screw holding the InFocus SP-LAMP-019 in place.
  • Disconnect the connector attaching the InFocus SP-LAMP-019 to the InFocus IN32 projector.

  • Grab the InFocus
  • SP-LAMP-019 lamp handle and carefully lift the lamp cage up.Pulling too quickly can cause the bulb to shatter.

  • Slide the lamp door back in place, making sure it is aligned so it clicks into place.
  • You are ready to reset the lamp hours.

  • Unplug the power cord.
  • Allow the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes. It should be cool to the touch. This projector works using high heat and there is danger you can be burned.
  • NOTE: If the projector is mounted on the ceiling, don’t stand underneath the projector while opening the cover.

  • Prepare the new Hitachi CP-X300 projector lamp. If the projector is mounted on a ceiling, or if the lamp has broken, contact your dealer for assistance.
  • Loosen the screw (marked by arrow) of the lamp cover and then slide the lamp cover to the side to remove it.
  • Loosen the 2 screws (marked by arrow) of the projector lamp, and slowly pick up the lamp by the handles. Be careful not the bang the lamp. The Hitachi DT00841 projector lamp contains mercury and must be recycled properly. Do not throw it in regular garbage.
  • Insert the new lamp, taking care not to touch the actual bulb. Oil in your fingers will cause a dark spot on the lamp when it heats up.
  • Tighten the two screws of the Hitachi DT00841 projector lamp that were loosened to remove the old projector lamp.
  • Slide the lamp cover back in place and firmly fasten the screw of the lamp cover.
  • Turn on the projector and set the lamp timer:

  • Scroll down to the OPTION menu in the left column and press ENTER.

  • Scroll up to the RESET option on the dialogue box.
  • The lamp setting will be set to zero.

Replacing the air filters

  • Pull the filter frame’s knob up while holding the filter cover. The filter frame will come off and the air filter will appear.
  • Take out the old air filter and insert the new air filter.

  • Press Enter to enter the Reset Menu.
  • Press the down arrow to move down the menu to the Reset Lamp Hours option.

Step 3: Replace the projector lamp

Your Vivitek D326MX projector uses the Vivitek 5811116206-S projector lamp. Before changing the projector lamp do the following safety steps:

  • Reduce the risk of electrical shock by disconnecting the power cord on the Vivitek D326MX projector.
  • Reduce the risk of severe burns by allowing the projector to cool for at least 45 minutes.

  • a) Remove the two captive screw holding the lamp cover place.

  • Tighten the two screws.

Don’t wait too long or you may hear making a loud popping noise before the projector lamps burns. “Lamp Defective” will then show on screen and remain until a new projector lamp has been installed. The projector will eventually turn off.

Before replacing the Dell 311-8943 (725-10120) projector lamp be sure to turn the projector off and disconnect from the AC plug. Let the projector cool down for at least 30 minutes.   • Place the Dell 1409WX on a soft surface and turn in upside down to access the projector lamp cover. Loose the two screws that hold the projector lamp cover in place.
  • Loosen the two screws that secure the projector lamp.
  • Pull the projector lamp up by its metal handle. Pulling too quickly can cause the bulb to shatter. NOTE: Don’t throw the Dell 311-8943 projector lamp into regular garbage! Since it contains mercury, this lamp must be properly recycled.
  • Install the new Dell 311-8943 projector lamp making sure it is properly aligned into the projector.
  • Tighten the two screws that secure the Dell 311-8943 projector lamp.
  • Replace the projector lamp cover and tighten the two screws.
  • You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Reset the Dell 1409WX projector lamp counter

The Dell 1409WX projector tracks the life of the Dell 311-8943 (725-10120) projector lamp and will trigger the warning signals when it’s time to replace. Each time you replace the Dell 311-8943 projector lamp you must reset the lamp timer to zero. Installing the replacement Optoma BL-FP180E lamp

Pre-installation safety Preparation:

Follow these important safety tips before installing a new Optoma BL-FP180E into your Optoma GT360 projector.

  • Switch off the power to the projector by pressing the Power/Standby button.
  • Allow the projector to cool down for at least 30 minutes. If should be cool to the touch. The Optoma GT360 runs at a high temperature and you can burn yourself badly if you don’t allow the projector to cool down.
  • Disconnect the power cord.

Remove the old lamp

1: Use a screwdriver to loosen the two screws holding the projector lamp cover in place. The Optoma GT360 should be cool to the touch.

2: Remove the lamp cover and place to one side. Don’t lose the screws to the cover as the projector will not turn back on until the projector lamp cover has been properly installed.

3: Remove both screws holding the BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) in place.Lift the wire handle on the lamp and gently remove it from the projector. Be careful not to hit the lamp or you can cause it to break.

NOTE: The BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) contains mercury and should be properly recycled. Don’t throw into the regular garbage.

Install the new lamp:

a. Take the new Optoma BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) projector lamp out of its packaging and lift the handle on the lamp.

b. Gently place it into the projector making sure not to touch the actual bulb. Oil from fingerprint marks can burn black spots onto the lamp when it heats up.

c. Tighten the screws on the projector lamp.

d. Close the lid. Tighten the cover screws. You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Step 4: Reset the Optoma GT360 projector lamp timer

Your Optoma GT360 comes equipped with an automatic projector lamp timer that tracks the number of hours left for the BL-FP180E (SP.8EF01GC01) lamp. Each time you change the lamp you need to reset the lamp timer. Failure to do so may cause the projector to use the lamp over the recommended period of time resulting in the lamp exploding.

  • Select Lamp Settings

Step 1: Be prepared with an authentic lamp

Step 3: Installing the projector lamp

Follow these important safety tips before changing the projector lamp:

  • Switch off the power to the projector by pressing the Power/Standby button.
  • After waiting 30 seconds, disconnect the power cord.
  • Allow the projector to cool down for at least 30 minutes. If should be cool to the touch. The Toshiba TDP-D1-US projectors run using high temperatures and you can burn yourself badly if you don’t allow the projector to cool down.

Loosen the three screws holding the Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 projector lamp in place, and pull on the handle to remove the lamp. NOTE: Recycle the burnt out Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 properly as these lamps do contain mercury.

Get the new Toshiba TDP-LD1 75016689 replacement lamp ready. Align the orientation, press down until the bottom is reached, and lock in place using the three lamp locking screws.

Replace the lamp cover. You are now ready to reset the lamp timer.

Reset the replacement projector lamp timer

Each time you change the lamp you need to reset the lamp timer. Failure to do so may cause the projector to use the lamp over the recommended period of 2000 hours time resulting in the projector lamp exploding.
