LCD HDMI Connection
I just purchased a new LG 55 inch LCD. When I hook up the HDMI connection the picture is beautiful but I get no sound. The sound is great on the component, AVI & TV Cable connections. the cable is brand new and cost $100.00 at Best Buy. Can the new cable be bad? Could the cox cable HD box be bad...

I have a 4 year old 63 inch Samsung DLP. The lamp has been replaced once about a year ago. When you turn the TV on everything is fine until the projection lamp warms up usually in about a minute.
