I have a sony 60 xbr800, I just replaced the bulb(old one was blown) and the tv will still not work. When I try to turn it on the red standby light flashes for about 45 seconds then the lamp light flashes. I spoke with the place I ordered the lamp from and they suggest I try the ballast.
