Here is my issue, I had the TV for about 2 years and the bulb burnt out. I ordered a replacement and it lasted for about 10 months. Again I ordered a new one this time with a 2yr warranty, This one only lasted about 2 weeks, when it burned out it smelled like burning plastic. So I got a replacement on warranty. I installed the bulb and about 5 hours later it burned out yet again. I checked the fan and it still works. When I turn it on I hear it click like it normally did and that is about all I hear. The lamp light blinks for a while then the standyby/temp light starts blinking after a few seconds. Where would the best place to start be, with the ballast or main board?? Or would this be cause by something else? Thanks for any help.
