Lens replacement on Color wheel ?

So the dmd chip went out on my HTL5075sx/axx tv. After disassembling the tv and checking everything I found the lens has a hairline crack in it. It's the lens where the light from the lamp goes through and hits the color wheel. My question is this. Do I have to replace the whole color wheel to replace the lens? Does it even matter to replace it? Can I just buy the lens? Anyway, great site and lots of good info. Thank you..

Hey Xramfn,
I don't think you need to replace the whole colour wheel to replace the lens BUT it would depend on what projector you have.

Thanks. I will put the set back together and see how it looks. I am thinking the crack won't affect the picture.
