HLN437Wx Video Problems

Postby njrunner61 » Wed Sep 23, 2009 1:39 am

I've had this guy since 2004, has worked like a champ.

Recently thought it started having some video problems. At first I noticed that although I have an HD source running thru component connections, the default aspect is 'normal', and I have to stretch it to 'wide'. It's an HD picture though, so I could live with that. That lasted for a few weeks. Now the video has shifted a few inches to the left (while using component 2). The DVI output (which I have connected to my DVD player using a DVI/HDMI cable) displays as really really dim.

Any help would be appreciated.

Anybody viewing this, I solved my own problems, this is a great post at google answers

I was able to adjust the x and y on the display to resolve my issue.
