Screen Shift flickering problem

I can't figure out the source of this problem. Samsung HL-P4674W. Hooked up through a tuner receiver to a DVD and Cable box. All of the sudden during the Texan's game today the screen started "rapid shifting horizontally". Appears to be kinda scrolling haphazardly across the screen. See below.

I tried switching inputs, going straight to the Samsung and bypassing the tuner. Problem remained. Tried using the DVD, but now I can't get a DVD signal to the TV through the Tuner or directly to the Samsung.

Would be strange for the DVD and another compnent to go out at the same time! (No lightning storms today).

Would be all too easy to blame it on the Texans. Can you get me going in a good direction?
