I picked up a rca m50wh92syx1
The previous owner has replaced the bulb and said it still didn't work (just gave the flashing power light thing)
I brought it home, found the 2 wires on the bulb weren't tight, so I tightened it up and it powered on and stayed on for a while. The picture goes on/off occassionally after that.
I did a search here and found someone else had this problem and it was suggested that it was a bad ballast, but never seen a reply on confirmation of this.
The bulb didn't look noticably bad like the one in my 61'' RCA DLP did when I had to replace it.
Any information would be appreciated.

Re: New guy here with a question
I would say that it would be the ballast being weak. It will light the lamp but it doesn't stay lit. I am not certain. But I figured I would give some input.
