HD61LPW167 10 Blinking Lights

Hello All

I am trying to fix a RCA Scenium HD61LPW167 that someone gave me because it stopped working. It is 4 years old. It has sound but no picture. When you plug it in, the front light blinks 10 times then stays solid for a few seconds then turns off. If you try and turn it on again the light comes on but does not blink nor turn back off. The previous owner said it might be the color wheel. Any thoughts?

Have you tried changing the lamp first? this is the most common issue!
