I just bought a lamp for my Sony DLP TV and it seems to have blue pixel dots and now it has a blue bar starting to go a cross the bottom from right to left. The trouble I’m explaining above was not on my TV prior to the bulb change. I’m wondering if this has to do with the new bulb. The quality of the picture looks good other then what I have written above.

The lamp only provide white light, this light is divided in the light engine in order to generate the different colors, so definitely the problem is not your lamp, it seems to be a light engine issue.

What is your model number?
