When we replaced the lamp on our TV, my wife used a can of air to blow the dust away. Now, when we install the new lamp or even the old one, the entire left side of the screen is purple.

I am not at the house now, but I guess when I get home I could do that. The color is the only thing distorted. The faces on the right side of the screen are normal, and a little over 1/3 of the way from right to left, the color starts to turn purple, and is at its worst about 1/3 from left side of screen.
