Got a problem with a projector? A DLP or LCD projector can have common issues. Why don't you check this forum out before running out to buy a brand new projector?

Hello!

Well you are correct about the lamp being fine (however I would recommend you change it anyways since it has been operating for some time now). this can be a colorwheel problem if the picture behind looks good and the problem lies only in the coloring. is that the case? and image would really help!

Hope this helps a bit

Color distortion with acer PD521

Postby grodayarera » Thu Jul 21, 2011 7:34 pm

that didnt fix the problem. The .pdf you sent is exhibiting the same issue on the red and green sides. The predominant color of the image red or green - depending on which side is affecting the rest of the image.

Compare the grey forks on the red and green sides in the screen cap from my original post with the red and green side forks in the .pdf you sent.

Any thoughts?
Thanks
