Robee,
Try getting into the service menu and resetting it.. To get to the service menu #1 do the following:

1. Switch to TV/AV
2. Go to Channel 99 Analog
3. Bass to Max, Treble to Min
4. Press -/V on the TV and INDEX on the remote at the same time.
5. Green button to scroll through screens.

Let us know what happens.

Btw.. to get to service menu #2 you must do the same steps 1-3 to get to SM1 , while pressing the RECALL (EUROPE models use HOLD) button on the remote.

Is this how you get into the service manual for all Panasonic TVs?
