VIZIO VP50 HDTV 10A start up problems....

When we first turn on our TV in the morning, it has audio, but the picture comes and goes. The it spontaneously turns off from time to time. but once its is "warmed up" it is fine. This only happens when the TV has been off for an extended period of time (over night etc). Once it is working fine then if i turn it off and then back on after like 5 -10 minutes.... its fine.
