LG 50 PX1D Power problem-- help !!!!!!

I have an LG 50 PX1D Plasma,heard a pop noise now the picture is not coming on,when I power it up the power light flashes about 6 times or so a yellow color before it turns a solid green but then no picture,is it worth fixing ?

I realize it might no longer be relevant, but if any future visitor has a similar question, I believe I just answered post that can help.
