Samsung LTA520 backlight inverter problem

I have a 50" Samsung that the backlight will turn on for 1 second and then the light goes out. I checked voltages from the power supply, and the inverter board connectors, all seem good. The high voltage for the backlights lasts just a second as the backlight lights and then disapears. It seems to be the inverter boards may be bad, but all looks good. Any thoughts?
