Replaced bulb & now screen turn black & shuts off

hey guys,

hey guys, i got a samsung HLS6165WX/XAA and recently purchased a Philips bulb from DM and replaced it...everything seemed great till a good minute after being on, the screen goes dark and shut off (along with all the lights on the power button flashing and a weird noise)...any clue to what the issue is? thanks in advance

Hi Adnan.

Did you reset the lamp hours meter?

If you don't do this your TV thinks that has the same old bulb and turns itself off to prevents it to gets broken.
